Plano is in a real treat as it receives the first vintage-car restaurant in the entire state according to an Audacy article from June 16 which reports,
“Ford’s Garage is a vintage car-themed restaurant concept that was actually inspired by Henry Ford himself. The restaurant has 20 locations around the country, but the one in Plano is the first in Texas. Located where Razzoo’s Café used to be, the new restaurant is sculpted to look like a 1920s service station and is filled with Ford memorabilia, such as vintage vehicles, fixtures, and gas pumps, according to Dallas Culture Map.
“Ford Motor Company has quite a rich history as one of America’s most important manufacturing companies. That history also translates to a pretty cool dining experience, as it turns out, and we’re excited to be bringing that experience to Dallas,” said franchisee.”
Ford’s Garage will feature burgers, sandwiches, shakes and of course, a wonderful set of craft beers and cocktails according to a Plano Magazine article from June 6. They say,
“Burgers aren’t all they serve, however. With a variety of appetizer and comfort food options, a macaroni and cheese bar, sandwiches, shakes, brunch and more, there is something for everyone. On the lighter side, there are rev’ed up salads with chicken, beef, shrimp, ahi tuna or salmon.
Ford’s Garage also boasts an extensive craft beer menu, with over 20 local and domestic options. Combined with the full bar, the restaurant curates concoctions like Hoptails, which combine beer and liquor for unique drinks like the Mustard Mary. The drink combines Lagunitas IPA, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Bloody Mary mix, a slice of bacon, a pickle spear, a lime wedge, a blue cheese stuffed olive and a Lagunitas IPA chaser.
The cocktail menu also features mules, frozen spiked lemonades, margaritas, wine, and $6 premium wells all day, every day.”
The new and unique restaurant will be open every day but their restaurant hours will vary per day. On Mondays to Thursdays it will be 11 am to 10 pm while on Fridays and Saturdays, it will be 11 am to 11 pm. They will also be open on Sundays at 10:30 am until 10 pm.
