Chef Troy Gardner brings back plant-based specialties with his newly opened TLC Vegan Cafe, an extension of his TLC Vegan Kitchen according to a Dallas Morning News article which observes,
“For the first time since V-Eats Modern Vegan at Trinity Groves shuttered in 2020, chef Troy Gardner is bringing back his plant-based specialties for dine-in with TLC Vegan Cafe. The new restaurant is an extension of his “tastes like chicken” TLC Vegan Kitchen, a now-closed ghost kitchen concept that operated from Garland’s Revolving Kitchen for two years following V-Eats’ closure.
At the new cafe, which opened Nov. 11, in Richardson, vegans, flexitarians, and reducetarians will be able to sit around a table while tucking into a plate of “impossible cheesy lasagna,” made with Gardner’s dairy-free ricotta-mozzarella-parmesan cheese blend. A mushroomy chicken fried steak will also sate cruelty-free comfort food cravings with brown gravy, mashed potatoes, and roasted seasonal vegetables emblazoned with a roasted red bell pepper sauce and crunch-ified with corn crisps.”
The restaurant’s menu includes sandwiches & wraps, pizzas, entrees, salads, sharables & sides, and desserts.
