A 23 year old Dallas man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for a drunk driving crash that killed a young married couple. The man pleaded guilty to two counts of manslaughter for the accident.

At the time of the accident, the man was driving with a blood alcohol level of .271, which is more than three times the legal limit. He rear-ended the couple’s SUV on the interstate. It burst into flames after hitting a concrete wall. The wife tried to rescue her husband, but the smoke and fire overcame her.
