Houston’s Tres Market Foods to expand into Dallas, offering a unique take on prepared food, according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,
“Tres Market Foods is Houston’s version of prepared food stores such as Dallas’ Eatzi’s, Snider Plaza’s The Festive Kitchen and Central Market’s chef’s section — but with its own flavor.
It’s a place to come and meet a friend for lunch and gab over a chicken sandwich, but more about browsing the refrigerated and frozen cases.
The family-owned business — founded in 2001 by two Houston moms, Julie Rhyne and Jeannine Holland — will open in Dallas next year. Rhyne’s daughter Lauren Van Wagenen will operate the Dallas store and is a co-owner. Permits are being filed this week to build a 3,700-square-foot store with seating in and on a large patio at 4919 McKinney Ave.”
The menu offers a variety of dishes from breakfast to dinner, including salads, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. Charcuterie boards and artisan cheeses are also available.
- Apple Cinnamon French Toast

- Bacon & Egg Salad On Challah Bun

Tres Market’s third location will open in Dallas, offering breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go options until 7 p.m. daily.
