Wanting to go out and enjoy yourself is natural, but like the rest of the nation the threat of the virus may be weighing heavily on your mind to the point of stopping you from leaving the house. Thankfully, after several months, Dallas city and Dallas businesses have gotten used to C.D.C. guidelines. ABC 8 published a list on November 2nd of “socially-distant” places good for just going out and enjoying yourself.
“One of the best places in America to practice social distancing is Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose. It was recently voted best safari park in the country. About an hour southwest of Fort Worth, Fossil Rim is all about the conservation of rare and endangered animals. Visitors can see tons of wildlife like cheetahs, zebras and even feed giraffes. The park is open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., but guests must buy tickets online.”
Fossil Rim Wildlife is just one item on the list. Be sure to check out the full list. You could also take a look at Paper City Magazine’s article published on the 4th of November about other socially distanced events in the Dallas area. In it they say:
“On Saturday at 7 pm, head up to Reunion Tower’s GeO-Deck for a an educational tasting event. For $50 per person, you’ll explore the world and history of beer, how to properly taste it, and — for the hosts out there — determine what you might want to serve this holiday seasons. Get your tickets here.”
Other events on the list include a show and a concert. Take a look at both lists for ideas on what to do this month in Dallas!
