Despite the ongoing pandemic, there are still a plethora of options to safely celebrate the holidays in Dallas this year according to a WFAA article published on November 19th. In it they say:
“The Trains at NorthPark display has been around since 1987, showcasing 1,600 feet of track and a creative holiday them! The display benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD), raising more than $13 million and serving more than 39,000 families. Facemasks are required and social distancing will be enforced. Tickets must be purchased online ahead of time. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the exhibit.”
Maybe simple Christmas lights are more your speed. In that case, the Dallas Morning news published an article with a Christmas Lights guide on December 5th. In it they say:
“Make an event of looking at Christmas lights this year, even if you’re going to stay in your car most of the time. We’ve scouted out streets and houses in three Dallas neighborhoods, Lakewood, Swiss Avenue and Highland Park, to help you find the ones with the most displays or the most spectacular ones.”
Whatever you decide to do this Christmas, there are ways to keep you and your loved ones safe even if you go out a little, so long as you abide by event and state guidelines.
