Several Brooklyn Dumpling Shop branches will be opening in Texas after a franchise deal has been made and this will be the franchise’s first appearance in the region according to a Fast Casual article. They say,
“Brooklyn Dumpling Shop, a dumpling chain based on the historic Automat concept, has signed a multi-unit franchise deal to make the brand’s first appearance in the southern region of the U.S., according to a press release.
Franchisee Sam Cole closed on a deal to bring at least five units to the Dallas area, introducing the first Brooklyn Dumpling Shop to the Lone Star State.”
There will be little to no interactions on the customer’s part in the restaurant as the processes are automated according to a Dallas Morning News article which reports,
“The restaurant — which requires little to no human interaction on the part of the customer — is “absolutely speaking to the TikTok generation,” Morfogen says.
Morfogen says embracing technology — and removing humans from jobs that can be done by computers and smartphones — could save the entire restaurant industry.”
Morfogen plans on opening 10 to 15 branches in Dallas-Fort Worth and 50 to 100 nationwide within seven years.
